As of January 2012 Lois Metelsky will take over the editing, publication and distribution of the club newsletter. In this capacity she will make the rules as to how information is to be submitted what the schedule is and what the format will be. That said she is going to need some help. If you're aware of something that club should know get the information to Lois. Do not wait for someone else to do it. 

The club has grown in the last year. Memberships are up, even more significant is the fact that the number of people willing to work is up considerably. In case you hadn't guessed this is a good thing. But it means that we need improved communication, more concise and more timely. You and I both know that the club is not getting this kind of communication from me. I think that with a little help from all of us Lois can help to fix this situation.

For those of you who haven't had a puppy fix lately, if you look in the upper left hand corner of our website, meet Smoochie.  She has taken over the Edward's and  is clearly ready to live up to her name which is short for , "Ste-Lor Kiss Me Under the Mistletoe".

Pepi Meixner, long time member and past President of the Butler County Kennel Club passed away last Thursday evening January 28, 2010.
